YOUR NEXT CHAPTER
Expert guidance for senior marketers navigating career transitions
Not a Member? Join here
There comes a point in most senior marketing careers where you pause and think: What next? Sometimes it's by choice. Sometimes it isn't. A role ends. A restructure lands. You outgrow what you're doing. Or you realise you want something different - more impact, more freedom, more balance, more purpose.
Your Next Chapter is for experienced marketers (typically 15+ years in) who are navigating that moment. Not generic career advice. Honest guidance from people who've been there.
Why we created this
The world of marketing is shifting fast. AI, automation, new operating models, and changing leadership expectations are reshaping roles and for many senior marketers, career transitions are happening earlier, more often, and with less warning than they used to. And yet, most of the advice out there still assumes you're early career, actively job-hunting, or climbing one obvious ladder. That's not real life for senior marketers. Your Next Chapter exists to help you navigate change with more clarity, confidence, and options. Whether you're stepping into something new, taking stock, or simply preparing for what might come.
Your Next Chapter explained
A series of short, honest films featuring senior leaders from The Marketing Society community. They share the transitions they didn't see coming, the choices they made, what they wish they'd known, and what helped them rebuild momentum. Alongside these stories, you'll find practical guidance you can use immediately from CVs and headhunters to board readiness, interviews, LinkedIn, and confidence. Everything is designed to be watched in your own time, revisited when you need it.
