2021 MSS Board & Advisory Group Nominations Wanted

The MSS Advisory Board is selected from a cross section of our industry and represent our membership in reviewing our strategy and plans. The Advisory Board are all Business Leader members operating at director level and with at least 7 years in senior marketing roles.

The Advisory Board meets 4 times a year as well as contributing to specific cluster meetings twice a year. The subjects discussed at these clusters include;

• Marketing and Membership
• Education and Empowerment
• Promotion and Partnerships

Advisory Board members and the MSS Chair serves 2 years in these roles. Fiona Burton, Partner at The Leith Agency is the current chair.

Our Future Leaders Advisory Group (FLAG) is a new initiative where we invite members at an earlier stage in their career to contribute to our strategic direction and programme as well as helping develop a community of younger marketing professionals. This Group will also meet 4 times a year.

It is important that both our Advisory Board and FLAG are fully inclusive and representative of our wider community being drawn from as diverse a range of backgrounds as possible. We would like to invite nominations for roles on both the Advisory Board and FLAG for 2021.

Nominations can be made on behalf of a candidate or directly from the candidate. Nominations should be emailed to Graeme by the end of October and in less than 200 words cover what contribution the candidate could make to either the Advisory Board or Advisory Group.
