Creativity is simply the pursuit of the new, the different, the imaginative, the innovative. In this session, Kevin will be explaining 'nudge theory', and how to use it to retrain your brain and unleash your imagination so you can live a more creative - and rewarding - life.
Kevin Chesters believes you can be whoever or whatever you want to be in this life, but you are being held back by a conspiracy; a combination of biology (simple human traits) and sociology (societal conventions) is stopping us all from being the person we know we could be.
The Creative Nudge, the book he has co-authored with his business partner Mick Mahoney, is designed to overcome our natural programming and the straight jacket of society, so we can release our inner creative potential. It’s not hard. It just takes a few small nudges.

Kev Chesters is the strategy partner and co-owner of Harbour, a brand communications consultancy. He has previously been the CSO at Wieden + Kennedy, Ogilvy and Dentsu UK. He is a prolific industry commentator and contributor to numerous industry and business titles. Kev has been a judge for both Effie and APG Effectiveness Awards. He is a visiting lecturer in creativity at three UK universities. He is also a corporate trainer for domestic and international clients. The Creative Nudge is his first book.
