Andrew Davis

Founder & Lead Trainer, Talk Dygital

Andrew began his career in digital media 18 years ago as a chatroom moderator on Pop Idol and Friends Reunited (think Xfactor and Facebook in today’s language), before becoming a producer for the digital station BBC Radio 1Xtra. He moved onto being Marketing Manager for Myspace.com and helped launch the social network in the UK at a time where iPhones didn’t exist. He then decided to branch out to teach, speak and help others find opportunities available by understanding how digital works for their business…and still does a lot of talks on why MySpace failed.

He has combined these skills into consultancy, high-end strategic workshops which create a number of strategic frameworks to give organisation a simple plan with actionable steps forward. Think of him as an experienced tour guide for tourists and explorers on the data river that is modern digital media.

MEET ANDREW ► I’m considered as one of the UK’s most prolific Keynote Speaker & Trainers in Social Media & Content Marketing. I help translate the language of digital for clients in multiple sectors showing how a ‘digital lens’ can attract new customers while strengthening existing relationships.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER ► Many organisations are looking to answer the most popular question in digital and social media right now: ‘So What!’. Making sure staff, from management to interns, connects digital to their business objectives through thought leadership, awareness or part of their sales process is a must...Yet it can be very confusing….this is where I come in!

CORPORATE TRAINING ► I have worked with thousands of brands and corporate entrepreneurs (Intrepreneurs) and have helped them go through a digital transformation by training them through this complex world.

PORTFOLIO ► KPMG, Ogilvy, Tesco, o2, Paramount Pictures, Royal Mail, JWT, Virgin Media plus many more. I worked at BBC 1Xtra, Myspace and sat on the Advisory Committee for England at Ofcom. Created the UK’s first ever social media course designed to improve numeracy and literacy in borderline G.C.S.E. English students.

THE PLAN ► I have trained over 11000 people in digital and have taken part in one of the UK's largest research projects as people tell me their challenges and needs daily. What I realised is that success is simple, however, it is not easy. From this, I created 2 frameworks which give all organisations the blueprint to success: The Digital Roadmap & the Content Quardrant frameworks.
