Alex Brunori

Senior Director - Brand Experience, G42

Alex Brunori is a globally awarded and acknowledged Chief Creative Officer, a digital pioneer and a marketing innovator. He is a TEDx Speaker, whose keynotes continue to inspire audiences across industries and geographies, a classic and contemporary singer and composer, a meditation teacher and AI artist.

A true multi-disciplinary digital pioneer and branding innovation evangelist, Alex has more than 25 years of experience in the advertising industry, with a long string of successful campaigns and awards. His career began in JWT Italy and continued as Executive Creative Director in MRM Italy and McCann Worldgroup Italy, followed by Publicis MENA, in Dubai, as Regional Chief Creative Officer. His work has won the most important industry awards, from the Cannes Lions, to the MENA Effies, to the Dubai Lynx, and he has served as jury member in all the major global advertising contests.

In August 2015 he joined Google in Dubai as the first Creative Impact Lead for Middle East and North Africa, then promoted in 2021 to Head of Creative Works for Middle East, Turkey and Africa, a role that allowed him to collaborate closely with the best clients and creative partners in the Region.

In October 2023 he has joined G42, the leading Middle East AI Group based in Abu Dhabi, as Senior Director of Branding and Brand Experience, allowing him to bring his skills and experience in the fast-paced AI industry, to design top-notch brands and brand strategies and keep innovating the way brands think, communicate and act. 

Alex has studied movie direction at the Tisch School of the Arts/NYU, in New York. A long time vegetarian, he practices and teaches meditation, kundalini yoga and lucid dreaming. His heart beats with music: from singing with his progressive Rock band Leviathan to his work from 2000 to 2003 in the two biggest ever Italian stage musical productions, Jesus Christ Superstar and Saturday Night Fever, to performing German Lied in Dubai. In his free time he's recording Leviathan’s new album and his first solo album, and investigating the heuristics and relationships between human creativity and AI creativity.
