The Marketing Society is a progressive global community of senior marketers. Our purpose is to empower our members to be brave leaders

Since 1959, we have grown into an influential network of 2500 members across our global hubs: London, Scotland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and New York. Our members are mostly senior clients (over seventy per cent) from brands such as ASOS, Barclays, IBM, Disney, HSBC, Mars, Samsung, Unilever and Vodafone.

Everything we do is through a brave lens – pushing boundaries, tackling taboos, providing comfortable spaces to have important conversations and building meaningful connections. We speak up, inspire one another, share best practice and discuss the challenges and opportunities we face. We work together to make our industry better for business and better for the world around us.

Our community

There are many benefits to being a member, but here's a few we'd like to highlight.

WhatsApp groups for you to stay connected to your fellow members round the world. Virtual events – attend any of our events around the world. Member advice – peer-to-peer mentoring via #AskTMS – connect to an expert or fellow member for marketing advice to tips on how to stay creative, for example. Welbot – to support your mental wellbeing we've partnered with health and wellness platform Welbot. Members can access a month free trial and almost fifty per cent discount on the service. Transition – an industry-wide platform, both for those out of work looking to find inspiration, and for employers looking to connect to marketing talent.

Weekly digest Our Week Ahead, is an email where we curate the latest events, content and Society initiatives – all in one place. Thought leadership – topical blogs and think pieces on our website and via our bi-monthly publication Empower. Podcasts and webinars – we launched our Soundcloud in 2018, but since the pandemic we've also been adding all our virtual webinars too. New York

Launched in 2017, our New York hub has 75 members from brands such as Diageo, MetLife, Verizon and AIG. We bring our network together with a programme of eight events aligned to our purpose of empowering brave leaders – including Under the Spotlights and intimate Fishbowl events More


Launched in 2016 this hub now has over 200 members, from brands such as Unilever, Majid Al Futtaim, Emirates NBD and Microsoft. We host 12 events a year and partner Dubai Lynx and STEP. We also launched our Ones To Watch programme here in 2019 More

Hong Kong

Launched in 2014, this was our first global hub outside of the UK and has since grown to a network of 90 marketers, from brands such as HSBC, Cathay Pacific, Standard Chartered and Mercedes. We run 10 events a year and launched a series with Facebook in 2020 More


Launched in 2015, our Singapore hub has over 75 leading marketers from brands like Shell, Mars, Salesforce, P&G and GSK. On top of our programme of 10+ events per year we also run our Brave Conversation series, in partnership with The Drum More
