Giving the empty chair a voice

Despite all his successes at Amazon, there’s one thing that Jeff Bezos always wanted but couldn’t do. What’s amazing is that that thing is now very possible.  He famously said, “start with the customer and work backward.” He believed it so much he would leave an empty chair at Amazon’s board meetings to represent the customer. A brilliant gesture, but purely symbolic. Now, thanks to generative AI, we can give that empty chair a voice.
