The Marketing Society is delighted to be supporting Social Bite’s exciting new event – Sleep in the Park – the world’s largest ever sleep out.
The mission is to eradicate homelessness in Scotland within 5 years and we are asking marketing professionals and marketing led organisations across the country to sign up and participate.
The challenge is to have more than 9000 supporters sleep out in Princes Street Gardens on Saturday December 9.
To keep you entertained there will be a range of celebrity “buskers” also sleeping out including Liam Gallagher, Deacon Blue, Frightened Rabbit and Amy McDonald.
There are no tickets available for the event – you just need to commit to raising £100 for this very good cause.
The Marketing Society would also like to invite our leading organisations sign up for one of our teams. Each person needs to raise a minimum of £600 (£3k for each team of 5) to join an exclusive lunch created by Martin Wishart at the EICC on the big day. At the lunch there will also be a 60 minute Q & A with John Cleese being interviewed by Rob Brydon and an address by Sir Bob Geldof as well as a Marketing Society drinks reception.
As an additional incentive the Marketing Society member who signs up most Sleep Out supporters by November 3 will also qualify for 5 free tickets to our St Andrew’s Day Dinner at Mansfield Traquair on November 30 when we will also have a very special guest speaker and entertainment.
