Siew Ting is the former Global Chief Brand Officer and Head of Insights for HP Inc. She is 5th time winner for the Most Influential and Purposeful CMO Asia Pacific, by Campaign Asia.
Siew Ting is a seasoned global marketing leader whose mission is to build brands/businesses that stand the test of time in driving shareholder value. With her over 25 years of diverse leadership practice, Siew Ting has E2E multinational marketing and business transformation experience with 4 consumer goods companies and 1 technology leader – Unilever, Mars Incorporated, Diageo, Fonterra, and HP Inc. These businesses are anchored in purpose, have a meaningful impact on people’s lives and communities, behave with integrity and are constantly reinventing themselves to deliver on their purpose. Siew Ting’s expertise has helped scale these businesses through repositioning their global brands with local relevance or building new categories and their value propositions, and leading teams through various global changes.
In addition, Siew Ting is a skillful change leader who is excited about reinventing challenges into growth opportunities through building high-performing teams in the last 10+ years, advocating a culture of agility and learning and encouraging diversity and inclusion. She leads as a ‘servant leader’ by creating a community of collaborators, and culture of utilizing a combination of art (creativity) and science (data-driven) to drive meaningful innovation throughout the customer journey.
In HP Inc, prior to this role, she has held multiple roles across Asia pacific and Global. She was previously the Chief Marketing Offer for Asia Pacific, the Vice President and Global Head of Marketing Strategy and Planning, Print Category for HP Inc. Prior to that, she started her career as the regional head of Marketing Services and Personal Systems Marketing, for HP in Asia-Pacific & Japan (Chief Marketing Officer for HP Asia- Pacific & Japan).
Siew Ting’s astute human centric marketing leadership backed by data and strong track record of purposeful/inclusive leadership has won her many industry awards. Most recently, she was listed 5 times in Campaign Asia’s Power and Influential List of CMOs 2023. This is the 5th time awarding to the list, including that in 2022/2021/2020/2018. She is also in the 2020 top 100 Global CMO Institute for real growth cohort for championing “human-centric growth”. Previously she was named a Top 50 Asia’s women leader by 7th CMO congress in 2016. She had also been recognized as a “New York Ad Age China Woman to watch” in 2014 and Marketing Innovator of the Year from China CNBC in 2012. In 2022 November, she was awarded by the CMO Club as one of the top 3 Most Inclusive and Equality Leadership CMO at the global level for her efforts in her championing of inclusive people leadership. In early 2023, she was also recognized as Asia’s top 25 ecommerce leader by marketing interactive.
