Originally from the states, Sam has led the Dove global Masterbrand team for the Ogilvy network from Ogilvy London. During this time, Dove has won many creative and strategic awards, including Most Effective Brand of the past 50 years by Effie’s; AdAge top Advertising campaign of the 21st Century; multiple Cannes, One Show, D&AD and Clio awards.
Sam joined Ogilvy Los Angeles in 2008, where he worked on the Cisco technology business. He also spent three years on the IBM leadership team at Ogilvy New York, responsible for the Smarter Planet campaign. Prior to Ogilvy, Sam worked on multiple brands including W Hotels, Nestle Waters and Procter & Gamble brands at agencies including McCann-Erickson and Publicis.
Sam is regarded as creative, hard-working, strategic, collaborative, resourceful and fun. He is inspired by brands with a strong point of view, by bold creative and by nice people.
