Sabrin Rahman

Sabrin is a Dubai-based senior executive and one of the region’s foremost leaders in sustainability and strategic partnerships for impact. Previously as the Managing Director – Head of Sustainability for EMEA at HSBC, she led her markets to the top of the sustainable finance rankings through innovation, advisory excellence, and thought leadership over the last decade—earning HSBC multiple Euromoney awards as the region’s Best Bank for Sustainable Finance.
Sabrin was also a part of the leadership team at COP28UAE as the Director of Partnerships, where she played a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the Presidency’s Action Agenda to advance the landmark UAE Consensus on climate action. She successfully developed and led portfolios on trade, accountability, technology, education, youth and private sector mobilization. Academically, she holds a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sydney, and is a UK Chartered Banker in Green and Sustainable Finance.
Recognized globally, Sabrin was honoured in the inaugural FinErth Women in Climate Awards (2024) for her efforts in mobilizing finance, named one of Australia’s Brightest Young Minds, a member of YPO Dubai and contributor to the University of Cambridge Sustainable Finance course.
