Lisa Gilbert is an accomplished global marketing and brand executive with more than two decades of experience leading complex transformation across multinational technology organizations. She has served in senior leadership roles in the United States, Europe, and Asia, bringing a strong cross-cultural and operational lens to strategy, customer engagement, and enterprise growth.
As Kyndryl’s Global Head of Field Marketing, Lisa leads a worldwide team that translates marketing strategy into measurable business growth. She oversees Account-Based and Pursuit Marketing functions across 60+ markets, driving customer engagement, pipeline acceleration, and revenue impact. Lisa created an industry-leading program that financially rewards marketers for originating new relationships and influencing deal shaping — establishing marketing as a true partner to the sales and consulting organization. She has embedded AI into field marketing workflows, leveraging intelligent automation, predictive insights, and agentic tools to sharpen targeting, accelerate pursuit marketing, and elevate customer engagement. Under her leadership, field marketing has delivered tangible pipeline growth, strengthened C-suite relationships, and enhanced Kyndryl’s position as a trusted transformation partner.
Before helping launch Kyndryl's brand from scratch (no small feat for an $18B company with 90,000 people, Lisa held senior marketing roles at IBM, including CMO of IBM Japan and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, IBM UK & Ireland, leading cross-functional teams through large-scale transformation and digital modernization initiatives. Her experience as a General Manager within IBM’s Marketing Services Center also deepened her operational and governance expertise across functions, systems, and financial planning.
Beyond her day job, Lisa served for 3 years as a Non-Executive Director for Pulsar Group (LSE:PULS), a British social SaaS company, where she helped guide their global expansion.
As a graduate of the Marketing Academy Fellowship program, she is passionate about developing future marketing leaders as the US Alumni council chair for The Marketing Academy Fellowship program.
