A committed leader with over 25 years of experience in the Middle East, Europe, Australia and Asia market, Liam Findlay is the Chief Executive Officer of Miral Destinations, the trusted one-stop destination partner for Yas Island and Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
In his capacity as CEO of Miral Destinations, Liam has the overall responsibility for developing and implementing the destinations tourism and marketing strategy locally as well as in international i.e., GCC, India, India, UK, China and Russia leisure and business markets. At Miral Destinations, he has built a professional sales & marketing and Yas Concierge team that is at the core of the organization’s strategy to increase visitation and increase economic impact for Yas Island and Abu Dhabi Tourism.
In 2017, Liam joined Miral Destinations as the VP of Sales, Marketing and PR, where he was responsible for strategic marketing, revenue management for Yas Island. He successfully launched three new major 'must-see' attractions, including all brand development and pre-opening sales, marketing, and PR strategies – namely Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan (Presidential Palace) and CLYMB™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi along with positioning Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi as the top-ranked theme park and Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi as the top-ranked waterpark in the Middle East.
In 2010, Liam relocated to Dubai as Vice President of Marketing with Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, where he was largely responsible for its marketing strategy and multiple brand campaigns for the internationally recognized entertainment destination resort. With 1,539 hotel rooms, 23 restaurants, a waterpark, an aquarium and marine entertainment operations, including Dolphin Bay and Sea Lion Point, ShuiQi Spa, and Kids Club, Liam positioned Atlantis as one of the world's most recognized and leading destination.
Originally from Australia, Liam is also an avid sportsperson.
