Laura started her career brand-side at Penguin Random House, working in the travel guides marketing team. The dawn of eBooks got her excited about the potential of digital, and saw her transition into Elvis, a young digital and direct agency to learn the new business ropes – and never looked back. Since then, she has led growth for Karmarama, a leading independent creative agency, helping them top Campaign’s New Business League. Then for Accenture Song (post-acquisition), the world's largest tech-powered creative group, working across a huge breadth of progressive marketing services as Managing Partner for Growth.
Now Laura is Chief Growth Officer for Ogilvy UK leading growth across its five key businesses – Advertising, Relationship Design, PR, Consulting and Health, along with her team of new business superstars. She is Exec Sponsor of Ogilvy’s Parents & Carers Network.
Laura also sits on the IPA New Business & Marketing Group and avidly campaigns for the Pitch Positive Pledge. She is a co-founder of the FUTURES Network, a thriving community for women in the industry, and am a member of WACL.
