Katie Evans has been with Burger King UK since early 2018 having previously held marketing positions at Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Krispy Kreme.
Since joining, Evans has repositioned the brand, refreshed the agency roster, given the go-ahead for a bolder tone of voice, and instigated brave, creative campaigns to drive relevance and reignite love for the iconic
Whopper. In 2019 she led the BK Meltdown campaign, when the brand boldly turned up the heat on the fast-food industry and announced the removal of plastic toys from its kids’ meals.
The resulting campaign garnered significant media attention and most importantly, it prompted sustainability pledges from other fast-food operators.
