Leadership starts with you! How to shape your leadership skills

Virtual, 24 September, 11am to 12pm

The Marketing Society aims to inspire, accelerate and unite the marketing leaders of today and tomorrow helping them to do well in their careers, do good in society and feel good about our profession and our community.

The Future Leaders Advisory Group works alongside The Marketing Society Scotland Advisory Board to help build a vibrant marketing community renowned for enlightened thinking, innovation and creativity.

A primary aim of FLAG is to give Future Leaders and First Role members applicable and practical information to make a difference in their marketing careers.

Launched last year and with growing popularity, we have a series of online events specifically for First Role members of the Society, x4 times a year.

  • 1-hour interactive zoom session – that's right – cameras are ON!
  • Led by FLAG members.
  • Practical guidance and advice on marketing topics and skills

Our third online session for this year will be held for an hour on Tuesday 24 September at 11am on Zoom and will be hosted by Francesca Coia, Digital Planning Account Director at Republic of Media and Ashleigh Chalmers, Account Manager at Lane Media.

Leadership starts with you! How to shape your leadership skills

Being a leader doesn’t always mean being a manager!

Join Frankie and Ash as they share their experiences of leadership both from a managerial and non-managerial point of view. Hear about how our Future Leaders have honed their leadership skills through practice, learning and professional development.

The session will also explore some ‘quick wins’ for acting like a leader no matter what stage of your career.

First Role Members  can RSVP to [email protected] to secure their space now!
