Ella Froah is a Senior at Rye High School and is focused on STEM courses in addition to filling her spare time with volunteering in community clean ups, tennis, golf, squash, reading, and bass guitar. She is most passionate about environmental sciences and has focused her energy on scientific research on endangered species like the migratory monarch butterfly. Ella encourages others to get involved and join her by creating pollinator gardens in her high school and local nature center for her research. Additionally, She is the Junior Member of the Conservation Commission Advisory Council where she advocates and educates local conservation efforts like wetland preservation for citizens of Rye. Ella lived and went to school in Singapore which shaped her constant curiosity in culture, biospheres and travel.
