Debora Koyama is a transformative global C-Suite leader with 30 years of experience driving growth, turnarounds, and AI-enabled transformation across Fortune 100 companies including Unilever, Mondelez, AB InBev, L’Oréal, and Kraft Foods. A trusted partner to CEOs and Boards, she has consistently delivered outperformance through strategic clarity, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide transformation in complex global markets.
Most recently, Debora served as Unilever’s Corporate Strategy & Transformation Leader and Chief of Staff to the CEOs, where she co-created the company’s Growth Action Plan, delivering its best decade of performance in 2024. She subsequently led development of Unilever’s enterprise strategy for 2030, launched with the C-Suite’s AI immersion in Silicon Valley, embedding AI at the core of the company’s value-creation agenda - fully endorsed by the Board and Capital Markets.
Her earlier roles include serving as Global Growth Operations Officer at Unilever, where she steered enterprise priorities across categories, geographies, and global functions to accelerate innovation and agility during the pandemic, and as Chief Marketing Officer for Mondelez Europe, the company’s largest region, where she led strategy and spearheaded digital, brand, and organizational transformation for a $10 billion business.
She brings real-world AI leadership experience, combining enterprise-level AI implementation with executive education from Stanford (SEP - Stanford Executive Program; AI-Driven Leadership) and MIT Sloan (AI: Implications for Business Strategy).
Debora holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in the US, and she is recognized as a Top 50 Leader by Adweek, a Women to Watch honoree by Ad Age, and one of the Top 100 Women in Marketing by Brand Innovators. She serves as an advisor to AI and technology ventures in NY and London, and mentors startup founders globally, helping organizations harness innovation and emerging technologies to drive future growth.
