Amina Taher is Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Majid Al Futtaim, where she leads the Group’s brand and communications strategy, aligning it closely with business priorities and driving impactful engagement with key stakeholders.
With over two decades of experience, Amina is a seasoned business, marketing, and communications leader with a proven track record in commercial growth, brand transformation, and strategic reputation management across financial services, aviation, entertainment, real estate, and government-linked organisations. She is recognised for combining disciplined reputation management with compelling storytelling to strengthen brand equity, build loyalty, and deliver long-term value.
Before joining Majid Al Futtaim, Amina served as Chief Marketing Officer at Wio Bank, where she led brand, marketing, communications, and loyalty strategies for the UAE's fastest-growing digital bank - delivering innovative customer experiences, such as banking solutions for content creators and digital entrepreneurs, and the UAE’s first fully shared banking experience for families.
Prior to that, she spent a decade at Etihad Airways, as Vice President of Group Brand, Marketing and Sponsorships, where she directed global brand strategy across 45 markets, led award-winning campaigns and partnerships with Manchester City Football Club and Formula One. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Mubadala Investment Company, Zabeel Investments and Dubai Holding.
Amina is Chairwoman of the Arab Fashion Council and serves on the boards of Bloom Holding, the Effie Lions Foundation, and The Marketing Society UAE, where she is Chairperson. She has been named among Forbes Middle East's Top 100 Powerful Businesswomen and the region's Top 50 Impactful Marketing and Communications Professionals.
She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from London Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Media Studies with honours from Dubai Women’s College.
