Alison Black

Alison Black is an Associate Account Director at Carat Edinburgh, where she has spent almost 3 decades (yes really!) planning media campaigns. She started off her media journey at the full service agency Covey Advertising over 30 years ago and has seen the media landscape evolve massively over this period.

Over the past 15 years she has had the privilege (and occasional panic) of planning numerous Scottish Government and Brand Scotland campaigns including the recent award winning collaboration with BBC Worldwide to challenge perceptions and showcase Scotland to US and European audiences.   

Alison is passionate about using media strategically in building Scotland’s brand to drive consideration to visit, invest, live, work and study in Scotland.
