Alan McGarrie is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and Head of Marketing for Diageo’s Scotland Brand Homes.

Diageo is currently investing £185M into their portfolio of 15 visitor experiences covering the length and breadth of Scotland, the biggest investment of its kind ever seen in the Scotch whisky industry. The jewel in the crown is Johnnie Walker Princes Street which recently opened in Edinburgh covering eight floors and includes world class retail, consumer experiences, a dedicated events space including Learning For Life bar academy, and two rooftop bars.

Alan has significant experience working with well-known brands, most latterly Tennent’s where he held the position of Group Brand Director, and adidas where he was PR & Social Media Director responsible for leading numerous global football campaigns.
