Ahead of her appearance at Inspiring Results, we caught up with Joint MD at Front Page, Jackie Arnott-Raymond.
The best advice I ever got
Better to try and fail, than never try at all.
The worst advice I ever got
Don’t leave a large corporate company to join a small company, as it will limit your career. Thankfully, I ignored it.
My biggest influence
My last two bosses: Chris Browne, now Chief Operating Officer at Easyjet, and Felicity Johnson, founding director of Front Page. Both are intelligent, inspiring and challenging (in the best possible sense) women.
The smartest business idea I’ve ever had
The one I’m most proud of, is the management buy-out of Front Page with my colleague, John Tafe.
The experience that taught me the most
Diving into my new role at a creative agency after a long career in travel (12 years). I had so much to learn but I’ve never looked back and I continue to learn new things every day.
The leader I most admire and why
Barack Obama. His success as a President has been limited – like most US Presidents - but I admire him for his integrity, intelligence and humanity.
Favourite current campaign
It has to be the current Maltesers campaign run in conjunction with Channel 4, which puts disability and diversity at its heart. Funny, heartwarming and challenging. Bravo, Mars and C4!
