What’s your golden rule?
In life you get what you settle for.
Never settle for less than incredible.
Who has been your biggest influence?
My parents. They supported me on every decision I ever made.
They supported me studying art. They supported me coming to the UK to study at Uni [from Gibraltar] and also on my decision to build a life here in London.
What is your most hated business expression?
‘We have always done it that way.’
This phrase rings alarm bells in me, it's a clients gentle stroll to extinction.
How can marketers be braver?
By not benchmarking themselves against the competition but by hitting it out of the park!
By celebrating failure as part of a longer term level of success.
What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
Deciding to focus in ‘digital’ when most people hadn’t even heard of the internet… now I’m showing my age :)
Which leader do you admire most and why?
I worked for Apple years back in Cupertino, Paris and London. So I confess I am a bit cultish about Steve Jobs.
What’s your favourite word?
Yes
Tell us a secret?
I can survive with 2 hours sleep a night.
