Best hotel for business?
Hotel Melia Galgos and Hotel Puerta de America for 'straight city-hotels' - next to the business centre, spacious meeting rooms... and Hotel Me if your business is downtown.

Hotel Wellington will surely provide you with luxurious pampering. 

Best bar for celebrating?
The rooftop bar in the Circulo de Bellas Artes offers exciting city views on the top of an iconic building.  

Best bar for a business drink?
In Spain, drinking often goes hand in hand with eating, and Ultramarinos Quintin does both beautifully and has a great atmosphere. 

Best restaurant for business lunch?
La Cabra for Spanish sophisticated cooking or Restaurante Sacha (+91 345 59 52) for an explosion of French flavours. 

Best way to spend an hour in-between meetings?
It depends where your meetings take place but a walk along El Retiro park or a stroll inside El Prado museum will help you decompress. 

Best restaurant for dinner?
Ten con Ten for quality food from Asturias, in northern Spain, and excellent service and decor. 

If you only have time to one thing in my city, then do this...
Enjoy the view and feel of the most emblematic buildings in Madrid by walking along Paseo de Recoletos, going through La Puerta de Alcala, Plaza de Neptuno and continuing uphill through Gran Via all the way to La Puerta del Sol. 

Also, and I know this might sound quite cliché, you could also take the city-tour bus, which offers a well planned and explained visit of Madrid.
