Andrew Barratt, Head of Ogilvy Pride at Ogilvy Public Relations gives us his insider tips on London.
Best hotel for business?
The Rosewood on Holborn. It's central, a fabulous hotel and a wonderful bar/restaurant to do the real business after the meeting.
Best hotel for pleasure?
The Corinthia on the Embankment. Close to the river for an early evening stroll, right next to the West End theatres and great bars on your doorstep.
Best bar for celebrating?
The Ham Yard Hotel. It's in the centre of Soho, so once you've finished the bottle of champers you can go out and party all night.
Best bar for a business drink?
The Rumpus Room at The Mondrian Hotel. It's in Ogilvy's new home 'Sea Containers House' on the Southbank. Fabulous views over London and delightful cocktails!
Best restaurant for a business lunch?
Rowley's on Jermyn Street. It does the best steak in London and a brilliant Cote du Rhones on the wine list too.
Best way to spend an hour in-between meetings?
Take a stroll around the National Gallery. Or a dip in the pool at the RAC on Pall Mall.
If you only have time to do one thing in my city, do this...
Take a trip on the 'Thames Clipper' River Boat. It's not too expensive, you can see all the fantastic sightseeing landmarks and there is a bar on board. Great way to have a whistle-stop tour of the city.
