Are you ready to go beyond?

Gain Theory go beyond

The UK’s Marketing Society membership includes esteemed marketers such as Craig Inglis of John Lewis, Amanda Mackenzie of Aviva (currently ‘on loan’ to Project Everyone) and fellows such as Sir Martin Sorrell and Sir John Hegarty. Aside from the ‘celebrity’ names in marketing and advertising, membership is mainly made up of senior marketers from every kind of brand – all trying to keep one step ahead of the competition on behalf of their company.

In late November, members gathered for The Marketing Society’s 2015 Annual Conference in London. The theme was ‘Beyond’ and the delegation was promised to be transported through the wormhole into a parallel dimension where drones, programmatic advertising and artificial intelligence are the norm. They delivered on this promise and more.

Gain Theory has compiled a Download document on the event: an easy-to-digest summary of the key themes and take outs.
The day was sectioned in two parts: ‘beyond what is expected’ and ‘beyond your comfort zone’.

Beyond what is expected

  1. Ready for 2025? Four routes to consumer favour
  2. How rational are we?
  3. Why do we love a story?
  4. Reinventing banking
  5. Can you live your life better?
  6. Creating a more productive culture

Beyond your comfort zone

  1. Will AI save or destroy humanity?
  2. Global goals and what they mean for business
  3. How far can you take a high performance brand?
