Marketing Lead, Direct Line
Oliver is a Marketing Lead at Direct Line, which is now part of Aviva. As a Marketing Lead, he leads the ‘Go to Market’ planning, execution and delivery across the entire marketing funnel. Most recently he led on some of the most significant projects of the year; the group’s creative agency pitch process and the Direct Line brand relaunch, the largest repositioning of the brand in over a decade. Oliver just returns to work after 6 months of shared parental leave, following the birth of his son Louis.
Prior to joining Direct Line, Oliver spent over a decade agency side, holding senior roles at adam&eveDDB, Havas and Grey London.
At adam&eveDDB he led the Unilever account, delivering both global and national campaigns for Lipton, Colman’s, Pot Noodle and Marmite.
During his time in agencies, he also delivered campaigns for P&G, Rolls-Royce, Heathrow, Carling and GSK, gaining experience across luxury, travel, FMCG and beverages categories.
When he’s not knee-deep in marketing plans, Oliver can often be found trying to wean his 6 month old Louis, chasing after his Jack Russell Jasper or planning his next long-distance hike, ideally somewhere off-grid and far from any Wi-Fi signal.
