Nina was appointed Group Chief Marketing Officer of Barclays plc in 2023. She joined from Verizon where she was SVP, Consumer Segment Marketing, leading the end to end development and launch of value propositions, including the industry-first MyPlan in 2023 and the Welcome Plan in 2022, pricing and promotions, as well as marketing strategy and planning, integrated marketing and device/product marketing. Prior to Verizon, Nina was the CMO of O2/Telefonica UK from 2013 until 2021, where she had commercial P&L accountability for the consumer and SMB mobile business as well as responsibility for marketing across O2, including brand, sponsorship, marketing communications, data and analytics, customer experience and device/product. Prior to joining Telefonica UK, Nina was Chief Marketing Officer at Barclaycard and before that she was SVP of global brand management at IHG. Nina also held a variety of roles at Diageo in her earlier career.
