Welcome to our online edition of SOS where we provide a platform for our members to make connections, share content and support our local marketing community.

Meet our Members
National Trust for Scotland
The National Trust for Scotland champions our natural, built and cultural heritage – as sources of inspiration for all. From coastlines to castles, art to architecture, wildlife to wilderness they encourage people to connect with the things that make Scotland unique while protecting them for future generations. A conservation charity, the National Trust for Scotland is supported by 365,000 members and funded largely by donations.

Laura Cheyne is their Head of Marketing and was previously on the Marketing Society Scotland Council. Last year Laura won the Creative Client of the Year at The Nods creative awards.
Meet our Partners
The Scotsman
The Scotsman is a media partner of The Marketing Society Scotland. Headquartered in Edinburgh The Scotsman was first established as a radical political paper in 1817 and began daily publication in 1855. It remained a broadsheet until 2004. JP Media bought the business in 2018 and Euan McGrory took over as editor earlier in 2020.

As a Friend of The Scotsman, The Marketing Society Scotland provides features on different aspects of our industry and community throughout the year. The Scotsman provides advertising space for many of our key initiatives and also publishes the full results of the Star Awards shortly after the event.
