The Marketing Society Awards 2021 Grand Prix is...

The National Lottery/Camelot scoops our top prize

The National Lottery/Camelot won both the Grand Prix and Brand Revitalisation Award for The Two Billion Pound turnaround campaign, assisted by Adam&Eve DDB and Vizeum in The Marketing Society Awards 2021.

This was the thirty-sixth Marketing Society Awards and the first physical ceremony for UK marketers in over 18 months. An elite panel of judges, led by Marketing Society president, former global CMO of Diageo, Syl Saller, were looking for exceptional marketing stories that truly demonstrated brave leadership in action. 

Other winners of The Marketing Society Awards, sponsored by Accenture Interactive, included O2 and VCCP for Brand Communication (large), Nationwide, also supported by VCCP and Wavemaker for Brand Purpose and Birds Eye and Cirkle for Sustainability.

In acknowledgment of the very particular challenges faced by the marketing industry in times of Covid, McDonald's and Leo Burnett won the award for best Response to the Global Pandemic.

Aline Santos, Chief Brand Officer and Chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Unilever (pictured left) was named The Marketing Society's Marketing Leader of the Year.
