Michele Tarnow

Michele Tarnow is a global healthcare leader and public speaker recognized for her pioneering work in value-based healthcare and the use of technology to expand access to affordable, high-quality care. As Founder and CEO of Alliance Care Technologies (ACT), she leads technological innovations that advance and address the most pressing issues facing healthcare. Michele focuses on three core areas, the reduction in maternal and infant mortality and support the first 1,000 days of life; universal access to affordable. Second, quality healthcare and contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals SDG #3 (Good Health and Well-Being); and third ensuring populations are fit for work to reducing injury, disease, and preventable deaths, SDG #8 (Decent Work and Economic Development).
With a career spanning global healthcare systems, technology ventures, and academic leadership, Michele has built her reputation on transforming healthcare delivery models through data-driven solutions and equitable design. Her mission-driven leadership unites clinical, corporate, and policy perspectives to create sustainable impact improving patient outcomes while driving productivity and social well-being across communities worldwide.
Previously, Michele worked at Hewlett Packard, Kodak Health Imaging, Kodak Digital Imaging, and Opsion Medical commercializing new technology to create ecosystems that expanded efficiency and outcomes. As a Professor of Practice at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and as an Adjunct Instructor at Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Policy, Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), she taught innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable business strategy and sociology courses in life course and healthcare policy as well as aging and society. Michele is completing her PhD in Sociology. Her academic work reflects a deep commitment to bridging the gap between emerging technology, health equity, and environmental sustainability. She sits on the In5 Technology and Life Science Committee. Michele is a member of the UN Global Compact UAE, advancing corporate responsibility and sustainable development across the region through collaborative partnerships that align with the UN 2030 Agenda.
