Bruce McColl who was the best Marketing boss I had who really inspired curiosity

How can marketers be braver?
By going after the biggest and deepest consumer insights in their category. The clues to the loftiest ambitions are there if you scratch a little deeper for the unmet consumer needs
What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
Taking the road less travelled from a massive FMCG company to a much smaller services company. At the time it felt high risk and was triggered by redundancy but it turns out the marketing toolbox is the same and I’ve found Marketing in services more captivating than FMCG.
Which leader do you admire most and why?
Nelson Mandela for his personal sacrifice and forgiveness. Plus I was lucky enough to meet him
What’s your favourite word?
Game on.
Tell us a secret?
Perhaps not a secret to my wife or those that I work closely with, but I am a complete magpie and am very easily distracted by shiny new things.
