What’s your golden rule?

If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.

Who has been your biggest influence?

Robin Millar CBE – my biz partner. Rob has toured with The Rolling Stones, produced Sade’s Diamond Life & has notched 44 no.1 hit singles under his belt. On top music, he’s launched multiple businesses, won a Windrush award & has been a champion for disabled people in the UK.

What is your most hated business expression?

“Purpose” or “Chicken & the egg”

How can marketers be braver?

Grassroots culture. Invest in it.

What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?

Giving up a job in Mayfair to turn a Facebook Group into a career.

Which leader do you admire most and why?

Robin Millar CBE – as mentioned before. Listen to his Desert Island Discs, you’ll get it…

What’s your favourite word?

危机 wēijī –  These mandarin characters translate as “Crisis”in English but on their own they mean “Danger” and “Opportunity” respectively.
