Martin Deboo has recently retired as an equity analyst at Jefferies, a large investment bank in the City of London, where he was ranked in the top 3 analysts covering European Consumer goods and was voted ‘Analyst of the Year’ by City AM newspaper in 2022. Over a 40+ year career in and around consumer goods, Martin went from moderating focus groups on cereal bar to influencing investor opinion on the likes of Unilever, Nestle, Reckitt and Premier Foods. Along the way, he worked in strategy consulting and graduated with distinction from London Business School’s MBA programme. He now works as a senior advisor and blogs as ’The Inquisitive Capitalist.'
