Kristina Gruenthal has worked at Lidl for nearly two decades and has a vast array of varied roles from international sourcing in buying to stock control & forecasting and has now spent over 5 years in marketing. As the Head of Marketing for the UK, Kristina looks after a team of 16 people and is responsible for the production and delivery of all print, POS and press. Combined with an excellent knowledge of domestic and international retail, she has also been driving several store transformation projects, to future proof Lidl’s estate taking influences from here and overseas. Innovation in stores is high on her agenda, currently she oversees a trial to establish digital screens in store.
As a post curricular activity Kristina applied and passed a Mini MBA in Marketing in 2018 to further her marketing acumen. Outside of work Kristina is a mum of 2 daughters and if they allow, …… she enjoys rowing on the Thames.
