John Gilbert specialises in tracking and writing about the mood and financial activity of consumers and has been a regular contributor to the Marketing Society publications over many years. John has also worked with the Marketing Society in his capacity as a former Chairman of The Change Foundation in raising funds for the charity that changes the lives of disadvantaged young people through sport and dance.  John is also a member of the Society of Professional Economists, the Financial Services Forum, the Association of (Charity) Chairs and sits on the University of Exeter Alumni Board.
