What’s your golden rule?

Be true to yourself and believe in what you do. In marketing, as in life, you'll encounter diverse people and face challenges, but it's about standing firm and continuously striving to be better than yesterday. Embrace a forward-thinking mindset with no regrets, always aiming to improve and celebrate the wins.

 

Who has been your biggest influence?

My biggest influence has been my father, a member of the defence services. He instilled in me the values of resilience, adaptability and purpose. These principles have shaped how I approach challenges and opportunities, always with a mindset focused on creating a better tomorrow.

 

What is your most hated business expression?

Think outside the box' is a cliché that I find overly simplistic. Marketing requires us to not just step outside familiar confines but to redefine and expand boundaries strategically and thoughtfully.

 

What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?

Integration of project automation into our workflow. This move significantly boosted our team's productivity by automating routine tasks, which allowed us to allocate more time to creative and strategic tasks. As a result, we accelerated our project timelines, enabling us to deliver excellence consistently and meet client expectations more effectively. It has proven essential in maintaining high standards while scaling up the operations across markets

 

Which leader do you admire most and why?

I greatly admire Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, for her visionary leadership that successfully balanced bold business strategies with deep ethical commitments. Her focus on long-term growth over short-term gains and her dedication to health and sustainability have set new standards in corporate leadership.

 

What is on your mind the most right now as a marketing leader?

My focus is currently on leveraging AI to enhance behavioral analysis and craft more customized, brand-relevant campaigns that outpace market trends. Simultaneously, I'm committed to mentoring the next generation of marketers, emphasizing the importance of staying agile and embracing future advancements

 

Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?

Being part of The Marketing Society offers a unique platform to engage with forward-thinking professionals and thought leaders. It's a community where I can both contribute and grow, gaining insights that are crucial for my personal & professional development

 

Why does marketing matter to you?

Marketing truly has the power to make a difference. It allows us to craft our own narratives, derived from real insights which allows us to fulfill a brand’s objectives. This makes marketing an essential funnel for creating impactful changes. What excites me the most is that marketing is never stagnant; it's a field where you are constantly innovating and learning. Every day presents a new opportunity to apply fresh ideas and see tangible results, keeping the work dynamic and profoundly rewarding.

 

Tell us something that’s not on your CV

One thing that's not on my CV is my role as a mother to a wonderful toddler. This experience has been both rollercoaster and transformative, teaching me the art of balancing work and family life. It has actually enhanced my multitasking abilities and skills, a step towards being a better leader.
