What’s your golden rule?
Everything in moderation, including moderation. In life and work, balance is important, but still key to finding pleasure.
Who has been your biggest influence?
I'm influenced by the underdog, by those that believe the status quo doesn't need to stay the same and want to keep asking why. I think everything can be reinvented and creativity and innovation are the key levers for business success.
What is your most hated business expression?
Any buzzword bingo - no point trying to baffle or confuse with technical jargon. Simple is best.
What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?
Understanding the power of advocacy.
Which leader do you admire most and why?
Warren Buffett - I'm a strong believer in looking at fundamentals in every function.
What keeps you up at night as a marketing leader?
How we train our marketers in the evolving more complex and technical space that we work in.
Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?
Learning from other leaders is key to our own success, but also to evolving the industry to be more responsible, sustainable and innovative.
Why does marketing matter to you?
The combination of art and science in marketing makes it both exciting, impactful but also a place to keep learning everyday.
