What’s your golden rule?

Stay Curious, Be Creative, Follow your Gut and Always be Passionate about what you do.

 

Who has been your biggest influence?

Steve Jobs, Martin Lindstorm

 

What is your most hated business expression?

Close of play

 

What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?

We used to sell powdered beverages. It goes and sits in the cupboard. How do we take it out of the cupboard? Launch a 1-litre pack, put it in a bottle and persuade consumers to make a 1-litre juice right away. Result: it goes in the fridge and consumption increases. From Powder to an indirect Ready to Drink.

 

Which leader do you admire most and why?

Steve Jobs. He changed the ball game of Marketing and when I say Marketing, it means all 4Ps. What he did with all 4Ps is exactly what every company is doing these days. He was a clear visionary but more than that a curious creative genius.

 

What keeps you up at night as a marketing leader?

Curiosity. While the world reads fiction, I read Marketing. What are marketers doing, what are consumers thinking, how's the world behaving - then I jot down ideas in my secret Marketing ideas journey

 

Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?

As someone deeply passionate about marketing and its potential to drive positive change, I'm eager to explore ways to add value to The Marketing Society. Whether through active participation in discussions, sharing insights, or even contributing to speaking sessions to empower new talent, I'm committed to making a meaningful contribution.

 

Why does marketing matter to you?

It is a Passion point. I love understanding Human behaviour and therefore, that is what Marketers are all about. Skills can be developed but understanding consumers is a process. On top of that, I feel there are still millions of brands out there who do not realise their potential of how emotionally they can connect with Consumers and feel loved. I believe we together can build that understanding of how to feel loved by consumers.
