What is your golden rule?

Get comfortable feeling uncomfortable because that's where the magic happens.


Who has been your biggest influence?

My husband, Alex. He's incredible. He's been my biggest support and cheerleader since the day we met. He picks me up when I'm feeling down, he calls me out when I'm being unreasonable and is the first to celebrate my successes. He helps me believe.


What is your most hated business expression?

"Think outside the box" is so cliché and overused.


What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?

This is the point where I'd like to say I have invented something, which I haven't. I always find that smartest business ideas always come with hustle, flying under the radar, working with brilliant people and often under pressure.


Which leader do you admire most and why?

Jacinda Arden. Her empathy, compassion and progressive nature. She's an incredible role model as a female leader in everything she does and stands for.


What keeps you up at night as a marketing leader?

Rapidly changing landscape, data overload, privacy, measurement complexity, talent retention, balancing the benefits and drawbacks of AI.


Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?

The Marketing Society is the ultimate marketing community for progressive and modern marketers. The thought-leadership, networking and access to content and brilliant people is unparalleled.


Why does marketing matter to you?

It's the perfect balance of customer and commercial, art and science. Its impacts stretch from benefitting society to accelerating business growth. It's a constant learning journey, with pace and that's hugely rewarding.


What does the word impact mean to you when it comes to marketing?

Growth.
