Ian Kennedy

Head of Digital & Performance Marketing, Chelsea FC

Ian is an experienced marketing leader with a strong digital heritage. Starting life on the agency side, Ian worked in media planning, search & digital analytics and helped the agency develop their digital performance offerings when the disciplines were in their infancy.

Ian moved to the Middle East in 2012 and spent 7 years building up performance, marketing technology & product capabilities within Emirates Airline. Becoming their Head of Digital Marketing, Ian developed and led a team consisting of digital analysts, performance & acquisition specialists, conversion & testing specialists, CRM and lifecycle marketing teams.

Relocating back to the UK in 2018, Ian joined Chelsea Football Club as Head of Digital & Performance Marketing to lead on their growth strategies for digital, servicing both club and partner marketing with world class digital experiences & content on web, app & social media, always driven through data & insight.
