This year The Marketing Society launched a new initiative called THINK EQUAL - designed to accelerate gender equality in the marcomms industry in the UAE region. We're excited to continue the conversation in Abu Dhabi as we kick off our 2023 programme.
Taking place on Thursday 19 January, 8.30 – 10.30am at the TwoFour54 Community Hub on Yas Island, you'll hear more about our plans and also have the chance to get involved and contribute.
The initiative aims to help progress the careers of mid and senior management women (8-15 years of experience roughly) helping to accelerate their careers to take more positions leading brands, agencies and media owners in the UAE and wider region.
Through training, events, mentoring, policies changes, content and much more, we aim to provide tangible activity that makes an impact and a difference now. We’ll also be collaborating with the other membership groups, event organisers and media to ensure more equal visibility and opportunity is provided.
