The workshop is aimed at marketers who want to go beyond the basics and are now looking to elevate their knowledge and contribution of how to get great work from their agency partners, consistently. You will learn about the different agency models, what motivates agency teams (clue it’s not all about the £) and practical things you can do to manage your agencies well. By the end of the workshop you will have reflected on your own agency relationships vs AAR best practice principles, and leave crystal clear as to what you can do to make a difference to your next project, campaign or programme.
What to expect from this workshop
This 3-hour session will be delivered via Zoom and led by Vicky Gillan from AAR. In the session, we will focus on three key areas
Build your understanding – agency models and motivations
Accelerate your knowledge of current trends and topical issues e.g. Right Housing, Pricing models and Motivational research
Getting great work – the client’s role
Assess yourself vs AAR’s Best Practice Principles
Resolving issues – a framework
Niggle, Issue or Problem – do’s and don’ts to resolve
The session will be fast-paced and highly interactive, with a quiz, polls and breakout session. There will be a confidential pre-ask to better understand the types of agencies attendees work with, high level scope and commercial construct. This will need to be completed and returned 48 hours before the workshop.
