Claire has worked in marketing for almost 30 years. She started out as an account handler in creative agencies, slid into planning and worked at various leading agencies in Scotland on brands including The Herald, AG Barr, Network Rail, the Co-operative Group, Hewlett Packard and the Scottish Government. Five years ago, she decided to hop client-side. Working with the strategy and insight team, she helps to shape the research that informs the Scottish Government’s communications activity on topics as varied as road safety, climate change, health and Scotland’s international reputation.
