Aun Koh

Aun Koh is the Assistant Chief Executive, Marketing and Development, at the National Gallery Singapore β home to the world's largest collection of Southeast Asian modern and contemporary art. His career spans media, hospitality, technology and public service. He founded East magazine, an Asia-regional lifestyle magazine,which Asiaweek called "Asia's hippest magazine" and Fortune described as "an Asian Vanity Fair"; served as Editor-in-Chief of Tatler Singapore; led global content and Asia-Pac communications at Tripadvisor; led brand, content and communications for a sustainability start-up; ran global marketing and PR for Everise, a global outsourcing company valued at US$1b; co-founded brand strategy agency The Ate Group; and launched the private members club Straits Clan (now Mandala). In the public sector, he headed the Visual and Literary Arts divisions at the National Arts Council β overseeing the inaugural Singapore Biennale β and built the Advocacy and Development function at the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre. He was the founding Chairman of Pangdemonium Theatre Company and sits on the Board of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Heβs obsessed with good food and has hosted and co-produced two food TV shows for Mediacorp.
