Meet our Members
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

From the first performance in 1950 “The Tattoo” delivers world-class, public military events rooted in Scottish tradition which promotes a sense of identity and unity. They are a catalyst for bringing together military and civic societies, Scotland and the international community, Britain with current and future allies.   

They are a not-for-profit organisation and donate substantial sums to a wide variety of charities. The Tattoo attracts thousands of visitors to the heart of Edinburgh and as part of an ever-expanding and ambitious international programme their unique extravaganza is trail blazing across the world.

The recently departed Chief Executive and Producer, Brigadier David Allfrey is an Honorary Fellow of The Marketing Society and Lynsey Fusco is Head of Marketing and Communications.

Meet our Partners
Jump Research

Jump are the long-term research partner of the Marketing Society Scotland. They have managed our Annual Membership Survey for over 10 years now and provide an independent analysis of member feedback across a wide variety of areas from key benefits of membership to our event programme.

We use this feedback to keep track on our KPIs which include readership of our communications, value of membership and likelihood to recommend membership (94% this year). Jump also provide an overview of the event feedback we receive throughout the year and also review the Star Awards each year from the perspective of entrants ,judges, and event guests.

Jump collaborates with a network of board level research, marketing and behaviour change professionals to ensure they deliver research solutions across a full range of methodologies. They were founded in 2012 by Louise Fraser who is a Fellow of The Marketing Society.
