The first module is a highly stimulating three days which kicks off the programme with an introduction to marketing leadership and discusses the importance of creating an inspiring sense of purpose for oneself, the team and organisation.
Across the three days, participants will be inspired by seminars with marketing leaders from blue chip organisations and spend time starting to explore their own leadership style, challenges and opportunities.
Day 1: Introduction to customer centred leadership & insight
The Marketing Society’s ‘Marketing Leader of the Year 2013’ Sarah Warby, Marketing Director, Sainsbury’s gives her personal perspectives on the nature of marketing leadership, reflecting on how to leverage customer insights and her own personal values.
In the afternoon, leadership consultant Anni Townend, Leadership Consultant, Steve Radcliffe Associates gives an introduction to models of leadership styles and development, encouraging self-insights. Participants will discover that they have a choice of leadership styles and understand which one will be most effective for them.
Also, Alistair Macrow, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s, will allow delegates to get to know their fellow course mates.
