Lucy Porter

Comic and writer

According to Time Out, Lucy Porter “is one of the most talented comics on the circuit.” Having had eleven Edinburgh Fringe shows, and international tours including shows in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Macau, Manila, Switzerland and Paris, Lucy is a well-established and loved comedian. Most recently she recorded a set for Live at the Apollo and appeared on The Celebrity Chase.
She is a regular face and voice on TV and radio panel shows and is a glutton for a good quiz show. She has battled alongside Ed Byrne in a celeb special of BBC1’s Pointless and achieved the highest ever celeb score on Celebrity Mastermind. Her panel show credits include QI, Mock the Week, Insert Name Here, Have I Got News For You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Alan Davis: As Yet Untitled.
Lucy is also a successful comedy writer; she penned The Fair Intellectual Club which was first performed at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe before being commissioned by BBC Radio 4 as a six-part drama series airing in 2016. She was also one of the lead writers on ITV1's prime-time Sunday night satirical animation series Headcases.
Following the success of her 2017 tour of her solo show Consequences, in 2018 Lucy will tour with her latest show Choose Your Battles.
