In the current political climate, uncovering and reporting the truth against all odds is needed more than ever and often a powerful image tells the story of a thousand words.
Over breakfast, we were joined by TIME’s International Editor, Dan Stewart who was in conversation with Pulitzer Prize winner Lynsey Addario.
The photojournalist for TIME, The New York Times, National Geographic and the Los Angeles Times was held hostage by Gadhafi's forces in Libya after capturing uncompromising images and footage of the displaced, women caught up in war, conflict and genocide.
Lynsey shared insights from her incredibly brave career reporting from events all over the world from Afghanistan to Iraq, Darfur, Republic of the Congo and Haiti.
This came as the rights to her published memoirs 'It's What I Do: A Photographer's Life of Love and War' have recently been bought by Steven Spielberg, who has also cast Jennifer Lawrence to play Lynsey.
